Bay Areas Best National Karate team
Bay Area's Best Karate Team was created in1991 by Michael Dobashi with the single goal of promoting the Bay Area's Best martial artist in kumite and kata. Bay Area's Best has won 5 World Team Championships in the NBL. None of this would not have happened without the contributions of great Bay Area Legends of sport karate, such names as
Woody Sims, Eric Dobashi, Satch Williams, Damon Gilbert, Don Togisala, Junior Salientes, Troy Whaley, Anthony Brewer, Tami Whelan, Moe Lama, Jordan Pallen, Rudy Ladua, Darryl Dobashi, Ken Torres, Max Pallen, Geoff Quares, Paul Mendoza, Vince Vanderlipe, Tyrone Ward, and Anthony Cesar.
