We specialize in teaching traditional Kosho Ryu Kenpo Karate to adults and children as young as 4 years old. We pride ourselves as a family-oriented karate dojo that understands the importance of unyielding and unconditional support. We value perseverance and determination which will be instilled in our students who learn to work diligently to earn their ranks. This is especially true for our children; we empower our students to be hardworking and dedicated which will enhance their life's trajectory and successes. A Japanese proverb states, "Nana Korobi, ya oki" which means "Fall down seven times, stand up eight." Bay Area's Best Karate embraces this belief and creates opportunities for each of our Kosho Ryu Kenpo family members to reflect, persevere, and challenge themselves to be better. Kosho Ryu Kenpo teaches students more than self-defense, but life lessons that will make a lasting impact.
